Fereshteh Yasoubi
"
Hi, My name is Fereshteh Yasoubi, and I’m a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist.
The pathway for me becoming a physiotherapist started with my interest in sports and seeing the physio run onto the pitch and help the injured player.
Then I studied science in physiotherapy in 1999.
I think it is crucial to be a people person. You spend all day in one-to-one contact with patients, giving them the skills they need to manage their condition.
I think it is essential for a physiotherapist to adopt an empathetic approach and work around their patients to allow them to manage their condition in whatever lives that they lead.
Being a physiotherapist has always been a great passion of mine.
Therefore, I am genuinely grateful to have worked in this field for 15 years.
I never really thought that someday, I would be in the position to watch a lady walk who was told she would never walk again.
Fereshteh (Angela physiotherapist) graduated from the Iran University of Medical Science and obtained her bachelor of science in physiotherapy in 1999.
She graduated from the College of Physiotherapy of Ontario. She spent several years working in the outpatient clinic and gained experience treating various MSK conditions.
Depending on the needs of her patients, she would utilize manual therapy techniques, Acupuncture and Electrotherapy, and Laser therapy.
Fereshte Yasoubi prescribes personalized rehabilitation exercises to help restore the strength and flexibility of patients and prevent re-injury.
She loves to learn new things and tries to keep herself up to date by participating in courses on different techniques.
Fereshteh enjoys Pilates, watching movies and spending time with her family and friends.
